Meet Our Staff Members

	JAY PRESTON, Lead Pastor                                          jaypreston@mfhchurchonline.com Jay (47) became a Christian in January of 1991 while attending Spring Hill Church of the Nazarene (now Grace Community Church).  He was called into full-time vocational ministry in May of 1996 as Pastor of Administration at SHCN.  He changed roles in May of 1999 to Pastor Service and Care.  God gave him a dream to plant a church for the rural underserved in Paola, Kansas, his hometown.  He now leads the church in Paola known as My Father’s House.
	DAVE BURNS, Pastor                                                      daveburns@mfhchurchonline.com Dave (27) came to Christ at the age of 5 at Spring Hill Church of the Nazarene.  He recently graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelors of Theology Degree. Dave first served as a volunteer staff member heading up the area of Spiritual Formation.  In July of 2006 Dave was hired as a full-time pastoral staf member andhis responsibilties grew in scope.  Dave has lead small groups and has a lot of experience in ministry to offer the church.
	IAN BLACKIE, Pastor of Performing Arts                  ianblackie@mfhchurchonline.com Ian (26) remembers nothing but following Christ from a very young age.  He has played in bands in many venues and with worship teams in several different churches.  He is a proficient guitarist and song writer with a love for songs that honor God.  Ian heads the department responsible for all performing arts including those used for a worship experience and more.  The dream is to be able to become diverse in the variety of worship experiences that can be offered to the church.
	JONATHON PELTON, Pastor of Catholicism               jonathonpelton@mfhchurchonline.com Jon (23) was raised in the church, the son of a Nazarene pastor. Jon's Father has played a major formative role in his pursuit of vocational ministry.  As well as his interests in theology, Jon also enjoys visual arts and playing guitar.  His leadership atg My Father's House began with an internship in the summer of 2004.  The church fell in love with Jon and he has ministered in it ever since.  Jon's greatest dream is to see the church universal united in its ministry to people--across denominational, cultural and geographic boundaries--to become the truest expression of the universal church of Jesus Christ.
	SARAH PRESTON, Children's Pastor                           sarahpreston@mfhchurchonline.com Sarah (19) accepted Christ into her heart while attending Spring Hill Church of the Nazarene (now Grace Community Church) at the age of 5.  She is currently attending MidAmerica Nazarene University majoring in Christian Education with an emphasis on children.  She is currently responsible for developing and implementing programming for the children of the church.  Sarah has a speciial place in her heart for children who are experiencing challenges in their lives.
	TONY BEVIS, Youth Pastor                                             tonybevis@mfhchurchonline.com Tony (28) has had a passion for youth ministry for a number of years.  He has served as both youth sponsor and youth pastor at Spring Hill Church of the Nazarene (now Grace Community Church).  Tony's responsibilities include planning and implememting youth programming, coordinating youth volunteer sponsors and organizing events for fellowship.  He is capable of smoking ribs to absolute perfection, a secret family recipe handed down tohim by his father.
